Why Give?

“Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”

Everything we possess — our time, money, and abilities — originates from God, making us stewards rather than owners. Giving is an act of worship and a recognition of divine provision.

The Tithe

The tithe is a tenth of all God provides: 10% of our money, but it is also a tenth of the time we are allotted and a tenth of the talents or skills we have been given.

How Your Giving Is Used

Financial tithes and unrestricted gifts support the church's vision: proclaiming Christ's gospel, fostering Christ-centered community, and fulfilling the Great Commission in the Bay Area and globally for God's glory.
